The path of innovation is fascinating, but...
Turning ideas into new services isn’t always easy
Every idea that becomes a new product, service, or even a new business takes a winding path in the mind of the idea owner and in the real world. Often, halfway through the idea's development, people either get bored with the many different aspects of the new business and stop pursuing it, or they lose so much time and perhaps money from the starting point that it's too late to act on it. The newer the idea, the more attractive it is likely to be, but also the more difficult it is to implement.
You should choose the right path for innovation
Design thinking emerged to increase the chances of innovation
Designers are those who often face the issue of creating a new product from an idea, so it seems logical to study their problem-solving method, “What is their path to creating a product?”. Responding to this question, design thinking developed and then improved over the years and is now a powerful problem-solving tool, especially in the field of innovation. Design has many branches, including digital product design, service design, user experience design, event design, etc.
You can choose the design thinking method for creation
In the path of innovation, the service designer is the facilitator.
From the moment of emergence of a new (service/product) idea, the service designer can help the idea owner go through the process of design thinking to increase the chances of realizing the idea. In this path, the idea owner gets better answers to questions about the main needs of the customers, the required changes to make the idea more desirable, the earning model, testing and prototyping the idea before entering the market, the behind-the-scenes of the implementation of this idea in the business, etc.
You can have an experienced companion navigating the path
An experienced service designer is an experienced facilitator.
For years, I was focused on the service design field. During this time, as a member of the service design teams and many times as the team manager, I facilitated and guided the design process. I examined the design thinking method in various industries, including insurance, finance and banking, tourism, health, corporate welfare services, youth education, media and entertainment, advertising, etc., for startups, small, medium, and large companies in projects ranging from two weeks to continuous two-year partnerships.
A good facilitator sheds more light on challenges and opportunities
Consultation with the service designer helps to make a better decision
The variety that I have experienced in the area of industry, the time span of projects, and the size of the businesses has led me to adapt the design process to the conditions of each project many times. Also, I faced a new industry many times that had its own relationships, communication, and culture. The personal result of this flexibility is that when someone starts talking about their business conditions, I can understand their conditions faster, and the starting point of solving the problem shows itself sooner.
This way you can think deeply about the uncertainties in advance
Service design is not a miracle or a guarantee of success
Service design is not always successful, and sometimes the result is a decision not to act on that new idea. However, in almost all projects, I received this feedback from my client that the service design experience helped them approach solving their business problems by a new method. Design succeeded in helping them bring their ideas from the cloud above their heads to the ground and face them as they really were. Maybe this was the best achievement I could have in this job.
If uncertainties of starting a new service baffled you
I am available for service design consultation
Although I have been away from service design projects as my main focus for some time, and I
use the experience gained from it in new media experience design and business anthropology, I
still provide service design consulting. It seems that after all these years of experience in this
field of work, even if I want to, I cannot completely distance myself from advising in this field.
My former employers and colleagues think that if I do not devote time to sharing my
experience in this field, I have been somehow stingy 🙂

Hourly/Case consultation and guidance
My consultation is more beneficial for these groups
If you like, we can have a service design consultation meeting together about your business. In my opinion, these meetings are more beneficial for these 3 groups:

budding entrepreneurs
Those entrepreneurs who are in early stages of their business, still not sure about their product. My advice may give some clues to pursue the success path. Especially if the idea is about a completely new service that has not been in the market before and does not have a standard form of implementation.

Managers interested in innovation
Those who are managers of a small but established business that intend to innovate their products or services but face different uncertainties. Just in case you don’t have enough budget to define a professional service design project, and the manager wants to personally pursue and organize the innovation path in the business, I can help.

Novice service designers
Those newly entered the service design field, who have just started their career path in the field but do not yet have enough practical experience in carrying out projects. If you face a dilemma in the process of advancing your project and you don’t know how to address it, I can give some clues to help you overcome it.
How to get a consultation?
- The consultation is in the form of 1 online session of 1 hour per week between 10 am and 2 pm on Sundays and Wednesdays (Tehran time zone).

- Before sending a consultation request, please be sure to write a summary of the topic/question.
- After sending the consultation request, you will receive an email from me confirming/rejecting
the consultation request. If approved, the link to attend the session will also be in the email. - The session will be held on Google Meet with a maximum of 2 client agents.
- If you do not attend the session, your email will be blacklisted and you will no longer be able to book a session.
